About Recycling Towards Sustainability Conference and Exhibition

The Ministry of Municipality in Qatar organizes the Recycling Towards Sustainability Conference and Exhibition annually to showcase the latest technologies and innovative practices in waste treatment. The conference aims to promote the principles of the circular economy, highlight the strategic importance of recycling construction and demolition waste, and support the expansion of recycled materials' use across various sectors in the country.

The organization of the Recycling Towards Sustainability Conference and Exhibition aligns with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Municipality and Qatar National Vision 2030. This plan aims to achieve sustainable development, ensure the well-being of future generations, and establish a sustainable circular economy for the State of Qatar.

About the 5th edition of RTS

The Ministry of Municipality in the State of Qatar is organizing the 5th edition of the Recycling Towards Sustainability Conference and Exhibition, under the patronage of His Excellency Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality. The conference aims to showcase the latest technologies and innovative practices in the field of waste treatment, promote the principles of the circular economy, and emphasize the significance of supporting the utilization of recycled materials across various sectors within the country.

Objectives of the Conference:

Showcasing the latest technologies and practices in waste treatment

Fostering the principle of Circular Economy in innovation and sustainability

Highlighting the importance of construction and demolition materials recycling while promoting the use of recycled materials

Encouraging public-private partnerships to develop and implement recycling and sustainability initiatives
