He holds a Master of Science degree in environmental sciences from Qatar University.
He wrote several publications and contributed to preparing the Encyclopedia of Native & Non-Native Plants in Eastern Arabia in cooperation with the Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD).
He held many positions:
- President of the Qatari International Agricultural Exhibition
- Commissioner General of the Qatari Pavilion in Expo Florida in the Netherlands
- Commissioner General the Qatari Pavilion in Expo Beijing - China
- Commissioner General of the Qatari Pavilion in Expo Antalya - Türkiye
- Commissioner General of the Qatari Pavilion in the Flower Expo - France
