Dr. Azad Ibn Ashraf

Lecturer / Chemical Engineering Department

Azad Ashraf presently works as a lecturer in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Doha for Science and Technology. His major research interests are renewable energy, sustainable urban planning, and decentralized waste management modelling.

He has developed various models on Life cycle assessment (LCA) with decentralized waste management processes. Azad Ashraf has extensive experience working in the chemical, petrochemical, and waste water industries in the United States and Canada.

He formerly worked with Dow Chemical Company, Union Carbide, General Electric, and Crompton Corporation in the United States, as well as in the industrial waste water and energy audit fields in Canada.
