Eng. Abdullatif Ali Al-Yafie

With over 28 years of diverse experience, including 16 years in leadership roles across engineering, maintenance, operations, project management, and strategic planning. His expertise encompasses performance management, risk management, business continuity, portfolio management, human resources, and IT. Additionally, he has hands-on experience in community management, co-owner association administration, sustainability, and environmental initiatives. He also has extensive management experience in education and social sectors. His career has been notably advanced through positions at Qatar Energy and the Office of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.

Mr. Abdullatif joined United Development Company in March 2015 and has been serving as the Executive Director of Public Services since January 2019. In this role, he oversees the public services for Pearl Island and Gewan Island, including community services, co-owner association management, facilities maintenance, quality assurance, health, safety, security, and environmental management.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration for Executives from the University of Hull, UK, and a Master’s degree in Business Philosophy from Nottingham Trent University, UK. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems) from Louisiana State University, USA.
